So after spending a delightful 40 minutes in line, we got to see the bearded man. Well, when I told Hailey we were going to see the man with fuzz on his face and a big belly, she cried, "We're going to see Daddy at work!" LOVE HER! Granny was fantastic and stayed in line while Mommy got to walk Elias till the big man was ready for us. Hailey again wouldn't talk...maybe next year. However, Santa sure is a smart fellow because he guessed exactly what she wanted...doll stuff and dolls. Mommy had to give Santa a little nudging to figure out that Elias wants a Hot Wheels trike (he better cause it's almost together). Well, after I payed their enormous price for pictures, they let Granny take a few. Oh, and if you are out of the loop somehow...all I had to do was hand Linus to Santa and Elias went running towards him and sat on top of Linus, which happened to be strategically placed on Santa's knee. Trust me people, if we could find another one of those old fashioned Mickey blankets....my washer would love me!
Anyhow, Kirra and Hailey also got to make gingerbread houses. Somehow the candy didn't make it in the cart at the store (we really got it, but you know...sometimes those grocery people want to highjack your evening) so Mommy and Daddy cut up Starburst and Daddy got out some airline peanuts. Hailey didn't care and well, Kirra was a 14 year old making her favorite little cousin-sister happy. Speaking of favorite little cousin-sisters, Hailey spent the night with her last night.
I'm on vacation, so more to come....
